Green Apples

I just couldn't stand it any longer. 2 cakes of a beautiful mohair blend in what I would call a green apple color was calling to me. ;-) So I gave in. In fact when I first seen the yarn, I thought that would make a fantastic Irish Hiking Scarf, so I caved in and started. The first picture shows the pattern a little better and the bottom picture is closer to the real color. With Flash/without flash. Also this is my first time using this pair of Lantern Moon needles. I have kept these for something special, so it's really making the whole process of making this scarf enjoyable.

As of today I have finished about half of the Great Dane intarsia squares. I still have to do about 12 of the dog bones to go with it. I really need to take a picture of it so you all can see what it looks like. I'll do that in the next few days.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and knitting up a storm. Posted by Picasa
