Knitting can be an "Awakening" experience (Satori). I hope that Knitting Satori can be a place where those awakenings can be shared and passed on to others.

A "cheer me up" package arrived today
My yarn arrived for the Penelope Blouse. The other yarn is for a wrap I have plans for and then there are the two pair of Addi Turbo's 32" size 8 and 9 for the blouse and the Rick Rack bag pattern. Still being in a little critical mood, you would think when you pay almost $5.00 for a pattern it would come in a plastic protective sheet. (I'm trying to smile and make that funny) LOL.
I am really excited about making this top. It's been a very long time since I made me something to wear. It will be a lot of fun.
So I'm off to cast on land!

Nice yarn! Don't you love Knitpicks?
You know, I have the same opinion about the pattern. Maybe we should say something to them? The first time I ordered a pattern from Knitpicks, I almost threw the pattern away. I thought it was some advertising junk that so many companies include in their packing these days...
LOL. Danielle, I know exactly what you mean about almost throwing the pattern away. At first I didnt' see the pattern because it was on the bottom, under the invoice. LOL, Glad I took a second look.
Nice yarn! I can't wait to see it knit up. Post progress pictures soon please!
