Ch, ch ch, changes

So here we are. It's 2007. WOW, seems like yesterday everyone was relieved that Y2K pooped out. LOL.

I hope that you had a great time bringing in the new year and that this morning you aren't too ill from it. LOL. We spent a lot of the evening in because of rain, but the minute it stopped we were out on our street with our neighbors setting off fireworks. It was a lot of fun. I guess there must have been about 25 of us from up and down the street here. It was a lot of fun.

This year will be a year of change. (I think of David Bowie's Changes every time I hear that word.) Some of it I all ready know will be happening and some I can just feel it coming. What I do know is that I will no longer have the Knitting Satori newsletter. I don't and won't have the time for it unfortunately. So that has been canceled. I also know that this year I will be facing a lot of personal and financial challenges. I'm not looking forward to those, but in the end I'll still be standing. That will be good for me.

Also, I found out that I cannot change over to the new Blogger because some of the KAL's that I joined are so big that they won't change them yet. (insert, jumping up and down with happiness). I am hoping that they will work out some of the bugs that the new blogger still has before I have to change. So, I can stay knittingsatori. LOL.

On the knitting front... well, I guess I need to finish some of the 2006 projects. ROTFL. Ok, I'll fit those in with the other things that I'm really excited about. LOL. Right now I'm working on the Red Scarf Project, I'm using Paton's Rumor, an alpaca blend that is mostly red and black on size 17 needles. I'll have pictures coming soon. I'm also going through all my stash, especially left over yarn to put together color combinations for hats for Dulaan. For some reason it's been really important, almost an obsession lately to knit and give. When I think about knitting for me or even someone close to me, I just don't get excited about it, but it's like I have to knit for these projects.

Oh I just remembered that I need to take off my list of 2006 finished projects and start a new list. That's cool.

Have a wonderful day,
Blessed be
