Getting back in to the sock mood

It's been a few months since I've really been excited about starting a pair of socks. But the other day, the bug bit me again. So out came some yarn from the stash and my size 1 Addi's and off we went. I still prefer doing socks on double points. That will always be my favorite, but doing them on circulars is a little easier on the joint pain in my hands. Double points always gave me a feeling of connection to the old ways. Now I do have a pair of green solid socks on the size 2 circulars that I keep in the car and work on when I'm "waiting." But, I'm just not in a rush to finish them. They'll get done when they get done. ;-) Posted by Picasa

I have that EXACT same yarn in my sock yarn stash. Seeing you knit that makes me want to knit mine up too. But! I must wait, since it's summertime I'm normally always barefoot or sandals. :)
