I don't know if you have been here in Gatlinburg, but the lady who owns Smoky Mountain Spinnery is a friend of mine and she has Ashford and another brand there that I'm going to try. Then I may head over to Ashville to Earthguild and see what they have. And of course I'm headed to SAFF this year. I way to close not to go. Hey, how are you doing?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16014898902579841935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11499451.post-55589765810586260282010-08-26T23:04:23.317-05:002010-08-26T23:04:23.317-05:00Spinning wheels- my favorite topic! I have a Louet s-10 and I love it! My next wheel will be either a Lendrum or another Louet but a double treadle (two peddles instead of one) because of my back problems. I would highly recommend that you go to somewhere where they have multiple wheels that you can try out and see which one makes your heart sing! I'm sure you're familiar with SAFF - that's probably your best bet for trying out a bunch of wheels in one place.Mousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03345829142268909884noreply@blogger.com
