What am I starting the year with?

I'm starting the year off small but with giving in mind. Hobby Lobby has their wool 30% off, this is both the Lion Brand Wool and Caron Felt It, so I got a couple of skeins to make some child size felted hats for the Dulaan Project. I've not worked with the Caron Felt It yarn before so this will be interesting. As you can guess the hat is on the right. LOL. Had to say just in case. The yarn cake has the second start of the Aran Twisted Socks. I started the socks the other day and I just didn't like the length, that I had done the K2, P2. So before I got too far into the sock, I decided to start it again. A froggin' we will go!

The one thing this week that has surprised me, is that out of the blue, several stitch combinations for socks have come to my mind. It's strange but maybe 2007 will be the year of the sock for me. LOL. Actually I was hoping that it would be the year of the drop spindle success, but I'm not ready to talk about that yet I still have over 3 hundred and fifty days to work on that. ;-)

Before I close for tonight, to all my GA knitter friends. I hope that the storms that went through GA today didn't do any damage to your homes. Were I am at just about 15-20 minutes south of the airport, got a lot of wind and super hard rains but damage was here and there.

So take care, and blessed be. Posted by Picasa
